Howdy darlings!

Not sure about you, but I, in my 40's already, learned to pay special attention to how my skin reacts to different foods. Preservation has been my mantra for years now, and looking 10 years younger every decade is my goal, ha!

I'll let you in on a secret's not called fillers or botox.

It's the ELIMINATION secret. Your number one enemy to youthful, supple skin is SUGAR.

Simple carbs, like refined sugar, white bread, pasta, rice, soda, donuts, sweets of any kind, cause your insulin levels to spike, which leads to inflammation thorough the body.

Inflammation produced enzymes that break down collagen and elastin...all that makes your skin look youthful and supple...and results in sagging skin and wrinkles.

Sugar has never been my friend, I (and you might find it odd) have never craved it - unless we're talking 'that time of the month.' And even than, one square of 70% cocoa dark chocolate will calm me down and make me happy:)

-cruciferous veggies such as kale, boy chop, cabbage, cauliflower

-eggs - awesome, low calorie source of proteins

- vitamin C, collagen building foods: peppers (jalapeños are the highest in vitamin c), lemons, kiwis, strawbrries


-processed foods (any packaged crap)

-highly salted foods (packaged foods)
